OK so I've been dying to move back to Missouri now for a few years. Well we finally moved back this summer and last night as I'm hiding out in my "yucky" basement with my family listening to the Tornado Warning sirens going off I was suddenly missing Utah. Thankfully we were blessed and the tornado and 80 mile per hour winds did not hit our house. The Arby's a little ways a way in the neighboring town of Independence did not do as well. Thankfully there were no serious injuries or deaths although there was a good amount of destruction and power outages in the metro area. It was a crazy night.



On a lighter note Ella was disappointed that she did not get to see the tornado or Dorthy. We've obviously watched the Wizard of Oz too many times.
