So my friend Amanda asked me what I missed about Utah the other day and it got me thinking. So here are the top 10 things I miss most about Utah.
1. Really great people
OK well there are great people in KC too, but I miss my wonderful friends I left in Utah.
2. Grandma Sycamore Bread
I just can't find any bread in KC that can even come close. Even the crust on Grandma Sycamore Bread is delicious. It's soft enough that it melts in your mouth, but sturdy enough that the bread doesn't flatten out when you try to spread on the PB&J. Plus they actually use real ingredients and not high fructose corn syrup. And it doesn't have "things" in it. My daughter will not eat bread with things in it.
3. Creamies, Monkey Bars, and Moose Bars
They're so creamy and delicious. mmmm I want to drive to Macey's right now and get one.
4. The mountain view
5. Only having to know one interstate. I get so turned around in KC. I miss my I-15.
6. 5 minute drive to the temple.
It's 3.5 hours to the temple in St. Louis. It wouldn't be so bad if gas wasn't so expensive.
7. No tornadoes
If I have to spend another evening in my basement...
8. Being able to walk to the library, the park, the pool. Everything was just right there together in Provo and Ella and I could get around so easily.
9. Temple Square activities
We do have some amazing church sights in MO though too.
10. Grandma Sycamore Bread
Seriously how do they make that stuff. It's delicious and I totally took it for granted when I lived there.
But all in all I love being in KC with my family. Now if I could just have my family and some good bread life would be perfect. :-)

Love your top 10. I have to agree about the bread. Whenever my mom and dad come up from California we buy at least 2 loaves for them to take home with them, which is usually gone within the first 2 days they are home. We miss you tons!
Hmm...we get that bread sometimes, but with such a glowing recommendation, I'm going to have to buy it again and really pay attention to it this time. :) Your list was fun to read. I wish we were closer!
